  • Trying to fill heaven with golfers. (Matthew 4:19)

  • Having a tee time everyday spending time in God’s word (Joshua 1:8) 

  • Building fellowship within our church through golf. (Hebrews 10:24-25)

  • Not playing golf with the same people every week. (2 Corinthians 5:10)

  • Loving God, loving family, and loving golf in that order. (Matthew 22:37-39)

  • Praying  before, during, and after the round for those we play with. (1 Thessalonians 5:16-18)

Statement of Faith

What we believe.

THE SCRIPTURES

The Holy Bible was written by men divinely inspired and is God's revelation of Himself to man. It is a perfect treasure of divine instruction. It has God for its author, salvation for its end, and truth, without any mixture of error, for its matter. Therefore, all Scripture is totally true and trustworthy. It reveals the principles by which God judges us, and therefore is, and will remain to the end of the world the true center of Christian union, and the supreme standard by which all human conduct, creeds, and religious opinions should be tried. All Scripture is a testimony to Christ, who is Himself the focus of divine revelation.

GOD

There is one and only one living and true God. The eternal triune God reveals Himself to us as Father, Son and Holy Spirit, with distinct personal attributes, but without division of nature, essence, or being.

GOD THE FATHER

God as Father reigns with providential care over His universe, His creatures, and the flow of the stream of human history according to the purposes of His grace. God is Father in truth to those who become children of God through faith in Jesus Christ.

GOD THE SON

Christ is the eternal Son of God. In His incarnation as Jesus Christ, He was conceived of the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary. He honored the divine law by His personal obedience, and in His substitutionary death on the cross, He made provision for the redemption of men from sin.

GOD THE HOLY SPIRIT

The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of God, fully divine. He exalts Christ. He convicts men of sin, of righteousness and of judgment. He enlightens and empowers the believer and the church in worship, evangelism, and service.

MAN

Man is the special creation of God, in His own image. He created them male and female as the crowning work of His creation. By his free choice man sinned against God and brought sin into the human race. The sacredness of human personality is evident in that God created man in His own image, and in that Christ died for man; therefore every person of every race possesses dignity and is worthy of respect and Christian love.

SALVATION

Salvation involves the redemption of the whole man, and is offered freely to all who accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour, who by His own blood obtained eternal redemption for the believer. In its broadest sense salvation includes regeneration, justification, sanctification, and glorification.

What We’ve Achieved

  • Received our 501(c)3

  • We have completed the first Winter league – with over 12 teams over 7 weeks

  • We have had several multi-day golf trips.

  • Visited PGA headquarters and met the head teaching pro to help build out our systems.

  • Launched first multi day golfing trip up in Grand Lake.

  • Exploratory trips to view buildout of golf simulators in Virginia, Oklahoma, Texas and Colorado

  • Initial "Proof-of-Concept" - having 12 teams compete at a rented simulator for 7 weeks.

  • Fall league with 30 teams involved

Why The Exclamation Point?

FORE!

When “Fore!” is yelled on the golf course people take notice and have an urgent need to pay attention.

Spiritually, the United States is currently in the largest, and fastest, religious shift in our country’s history.  

In 1999, 70% of people were members of a church and 83% identified as Christian.  For the first time in history, church membership is not the majority.   Today, church membership is 47% and 63% identify as Christian and the downward trend has never-seen-before momentum, especially with younger adults and men.

Culture is communicating that church attendance and a living faith is not important.  While there are thriving churches in America, most new members and church plants are relocating believers with very few new converts.  In fact, the number of non-believers coming to church or expressing interest in a faith with Christ is declining every year.

If there is a time for Christians to take notice and yell, “FORE!” it is today.

The exclamation point emphasizes the urgency to engage with the culture in new and immediate ways today – to promote the Good News of the Gospel.
